Bold, Joyful Flavors of Mauritian Food

A Little Island. A Lot of Flavor.

Handmade samoussas, sauces and snacks that bring the island to your table.

Golden, crispy and unforgettable - just like we make them at home!

At any celebration in Mauritius, there’s always a platter of gajaks – snacks made for sharing.

And nothing disappears faster than samosas: crisp pastry triangles filled with perfectly spiced meats, fish, or potatoes.

Handmade with Heart - Just like Mom Made it

Better Ingredients = Better Snacks

Every Petite Île product starts with respect - for tradition, for the environment, and for your tastebuds.

Our samoussas are handmade in small batches using only the best ingredients, from pasture-raised chicken to line-caught tuna and organic potatoes. No fillers. No shortcuts. Just big flavor in every bite.

We use:

  • Pasture-raised chicken and grass-fed beef
  • Line-caught albacore tuna from small, sustainable fisheries
  • Freshly roasted and blended mild spices
  • Extra-virgin olive oil and avocado oil
  • No additives, no preservatives, ever.

“We cook the same way we do at home, with love, quality, and care.”

Our Mission

Rooted in Family. Built on Values. Inspired by the Island

Petite Île was founded in honor of my mother’s cooking and the island I grew up on, Mauritius.

After 30 years in international banking, I started this business to share something personal, joyful, and deeply flavorful.

We pay our team fairly, partner with small farms and fisheries, and build community with every order. This is more than food, it’s a way of doing business we believe in.

Born in my mother's kitchen. Now in yours
