In Mauritius, if there’s a party, there’s samoussa.
For Mauritians, there is no such thing as a party without snacks, or ‘gajaks.’ Most popular by a mile are samoussas, crispy golden pastry triangles filled with spiced meats, fish, or potatoes. Our samoussas are a true crowd-pleaser, made to share with vegetarians, pescatarians, and meat-eaters alike.
We believe the best flavors come from the best ingredients, so we use ingredients from sustainable farms and fisheries, and we don’t use any additives or fillers. For all our samoussas, we use only extra-virgin olive oil and avocado oil, and we avoid any preservatives or additives. Our chicken is pasture-raised chicken, our beef is grass-fed, and our all-natural albacore tuna is line-caught from sustainable small fisheries.
